Hotels in Bocas del Toro

Hotels in Bocas del Toro come in all shapes and sizes but just not the huge all-inclusive resorts that you may see on the Pacific Coast. Phew! that’s a relief.

There are some great hotels in Bocas Town on Isla Colon some on the water and some on the main street, either way, no where is very far away in Bocas. Swan’s Cay is possibly the best hotel in town at the moment but a few new ones are being built which will up the ante somewhat. There are many mid range small hotels with rooms from between $40 and $75, one of our favourites being the slightly scruffy but wonderful Hotel Angela.

Given the number of pack-packers and lap-packers that visit Bocas there are many great Hostels offering either shared rooms or double rooms for those wanting a bit more privacy.
